Birded Radnor Lake today with Jan Shaw and Gary Casey. Saw and heard
little else except for the expected breeders. Even the Spotted
Sandpiper, which has been regular at the dam for the past 2 weeks was
missing today. Highlights were a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird on
her nest and a muskrat swimming just a few feet from shore. I have not
heard or seen any Connecticut or Mourning Warblers for the past 3 days.
No Yellow-bellied Flycatcher either, which is also a late migrant.
