Y'know, I sort of feel the same way about RH. Used it from the 6-s
through the 7's and it was my distro of choice.  However, after that, it
became too user friendly or something--the trouble with userfriendly is
that it becomes a bit bloated, and some things stop working the way one
expects them to work.  

I guess there's the feeling of wanting to be different, too, which I
haven't outgrown. :)  I used to love Gentoo, then when it became overly
popular, switched to Arch.  

BTW Haywire Mac if you see this, where are you--I note you're in the
same time zone as I am.
