Yeah, but that's a 1-bit black and white bitmap coded into the header
of every sent mail. Not what I had in mind... My idea would be any
image format as META:avatar for People files that can be used by any
app. The Mail app could do the filtered resizing so that the bigest
dimension fits the available space (32 or 48px?).
