Active supporters of the BCAB or its projects The British Computer Association of the Blind is a small charity concerned with maximising the usability of ICT by visually impaired people in the United Kingdom. We arrainge specialised training courses in IT and access technology, organize workshops and raise awareness about affordable technology solutions for our community. We have a core of active supporters and also occassional helpers for specific projects e.g. a project at the moment involves visiting small societies that support visually impaired people and train their staff about how best to use IT. We need an email list so the Board of the Association and these supporters can keep in touch and run our projects efficiently. We are not based in a single town/city we are spread all over the UK so communication can be a serious issue. |
