Consensus 2010 Conference Steering Committee In February of 2010, the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) will hold a scientific meeting in Dallas, USA. ILCOR is dedicated to the continual improvement of medical treatments for cardiac arrest. As part of that overall objective, representatives of resuscitation councils from around the world meet on a regular basis to evaluate scientific evidence that supports proposed changes to current guidelines and treatment recommendations for cardiac arrest victims. ILCOR meetings are sponsored by the American Heart Association, not for profit organization. |

A list for the members of the local Brighton and Hove branch of the NO2ID campaign (www.no2id.net). The campaign is against the UK Governments plans to set up an electronic National Identity Register (containing citizens' biometric data) linked to a compulsary national ID card. This is technology related because the Governments plans include a multi-billion pound IT project. Many of our discussions will focus around aspects of this project. |
