Texas Society for Microscopy

This ia a non-profit society open to all users of microscopy of any form in business, science, and/or hobbies. We are a local affiliate chapter of the Microscopy Society of America. This list is set up to keep subscribers posted about society matters, meeting announcements, officer elections, call for papers, etc. This list is announce-only and all subscibers are approved by the list owner.

BCAB Membership announcement list

The British Computer Association of the Blind is a small UK charity which focuses on ensuring visually impaired people can gain access to ICT. We arrange specially adapted training courses, run workshops, provide self help support etc. for our community. While we are a membership organization our services are availableto all visually impaired people, their supporters and possible employers. We produce a newsletter every 3 months which we needto circulate to our membership by email. We also have the need to be able to send announcements to the membership when we organize special events eg. a seminar. (The largest newsletter over the last 3 years was 230 Kb and most were less than 100 Kb).

Redwood Men Communicate

This group has been formed to utilize the Internet as a means of developing an online community of men who want to exchange information about men's personal growth. Internet resources and tools that promote men's growth will be shared by subscribers to this list. Discussion is geared toward how personal challenges such as a loss, a joy, or a success may bring about a new meaning or expansion of thought or consciousness. Information about ways men might exude a positive male image while maintaining the integrity of the male experience is also included. This group has been created by members of the Redwood Men's Center, a non-profit men's organization based in Sonoma County, California.
