Thrive

A resource guide for sustainable living in Vancouver, BC. Our core project is something called the Thriveguide which is a directory of agencies, restaurants, stores, etc. that promote sustainable living. By sustainable living I refer to choices that you can make in life that lead to more socially and environmentally responsible outcomes in whatever size community you happen to participate in. This can include things like: buying and electric bike to take to work instead of driving your car, buying locally grown organic produce rather than shipping chemically treated GMO products from afar, or heating your home with solar or geothermal power rather than natural gas or electricity. Our organization is simply attempting to connect people with this information and encourage them to make choices that lean more closely towards this kind of lifestyle. To provide people with an easy but significant alternative so that they don't get discouraged, and are given an opportunity to change.
