We are a team of technical IT Peace Corps volunteers in Belize. We need a method whereby we can all be notified of any technical meetings or information.

Visually impaired members will send E-Mail about new Compuitng projects for visually impaired people, which they can realize in his enterprises. Visually impaired workers can use the new Information technologz in thems enterprises such as>Text To Speech Engines, Magnifyers, etc. Visually impaired workers can use the Internet, as communication method in his enterprises, and firms. This mailing list helps to visually impaired workers to make the projects for them inploinment and for developing of that projects.

The Troop 101 Email Ring provides the members of Boy Scout Troop 101 to communicate with eachother using the world wide medium via this email ring. Members will communicate with each other quickly and easily using a one click email format.

National Ballot Initiative News

A newsletter to update supporters of Senator Mike Gravel's National Initiative for Democracy, and supporters of better ballot initiatives generally. This will include news of efforts to improve state ballot initiative process and other attempts to institute national ballot initiatives and what people can do to support them.

CSP Karachi Chapter

Computer Society of Pakistan, Karachi Chapter's Mailing List. The Computer Society of Pakistan (CSP) is the national organization of Information Technology professionals in the country. It was established in 1973 to promote the use of computers, increase general awareness among the public and to look after the professional interests of the IT personnel in the country. The Society holds lectures, seminars and technology forums which provide an excellent platform for the interaction of professionals. It organizes annual computer exhibitions and software competitions all over the country with the objective of fostering a better future for IT in Pakistan. The Computer Society of Pakistan sponsors students to take part in the international software competitions in various countries as well as organizes various programs for the youth. The world votes

The theworldvotes mailing list will be used in combination with the theworldvotes.org platform. The main purposes of this platform and mailing list will be twofold: 1) let the world vote during the US presidential elections in 2004 and 2) host a debate about e-voting and e-democracy. This last topic will focus on privavy issues, security issues and transparancy issues regarding e-voting on a global scale. Therefore, various e-voting methods will be assessed and our thesis that e-voting engines should be made using open source software will be discussed. This whole inititiave is started without funding, relying on a small group of volunteers, hence our request to freelists.org.
