The WIA Attorneys listserv is a private list that seeks to use today's list technology to further collaboration among attorneys in the 50 states working on Workforce Investment Act issues around the country including the development of performance accountability systems and case management systems; electronic privacy; procurement of open source code vendor solutions, web based service delivery, web advertising, wage record interchange and electronic record matching, as well as general WIA issues. |

At first, we will assemble a list of our database users contact information so we can distribute software announcements and surveys for satisfaction assessment or gathering information on what kind of platform our users are using, ie Windows XP or Windows 98. We are planning on sending out a survey next week to make sure our new enhancements to the database they are using will be supported by their local systems. For example, do they have enough memory, do they meet the minimum suggested screen pixels, type of intel, etc. We are not sure how this list will be used beyond this but this is the initial plan. |
