Netzwerk Familienrat Deutschland Region Nord-Ost

Family Group Conference (or "Familienrat" in German) is a participative approach within social wellfare to support young people and their networks in finding reliable sollutions for various problems at hand. Within this list (mostly) social workers based in the north-eastern part of Germany shall share information and discuss their experience. The group is generally open for everyone though and mesages will be written in German by standard. Freelists Test for City of Sanctuary

City of Sanctuary is considering FreeLists (http://cityofsanctuary.org/about) for its 10-20 different group discussion lists, currently provided by a MailMan install somewhere else. Before we make any significant move, we'd really like to try a FreeLists list, to see how well it works for us. Some of our volunteers are not very comfy with tech, so a test will let us assess any potential problems in advance. We'd be looking to have this list deleted after a few weeks, prior to setting up our first proper discussion list.

Florida Scholastic Rowing Association

FSRA is the governing body of scholastic-aged youth rowing in the state of Florida. FSRA operates as a non-profit organization established promote rowing as a sport among the youth of Florida. All FSRA member youth teams (club and high school) active during the Florida spring racing season will be invited to participate in the season ending Florida State Championship Regatta(s). As a service to the greater Florida rowing community, FSRA hosts an annual fall coach's meeting (open to everyone but only member organizations, high school and club, may vote), organizes a spring regatta schedule, and maintains a contact list of Florida high school and youth teams. I want to trial this service as a potential option for managing a distribution list for the Scottish Energy Officers Network. This is a network of Scottish Local Authority representatives that focus on the improved energy management and sustainability of Council buildings. If the trial is successful, we would intend to use this to manage the distribution list as we have in the past experienced difficulty keeping the communication lists accurate as members use old emails to transfer lists.
