You may be able to get what you want with existing NRPNs on a single instance
depending on exactly how you are using the parts.
Direct part control allows you to change a part's instrument from within the
current bank regardless of its channel number. If that part is sounding you'll
get a click, but if not the switch will be silent. At the same time normal bank
change CCs are fast, silent and have no direct effect on the system. So you can
ripple through the parts to change them individually.
