Why NOT replace it,to avoid Returns ??? - Peggs

Because by measuring the actual voltage on the diode, I can get a 2nd repair
about 9 - 12 months later, out of warranty. Orrrrrr I can replace it now and
avoid that callback......just depends on the actual voltage I see on my
meter.....if it's 13 Volts or higher I don't touch it.

You know, that's like taking your car in for a radiator repair and the guy
there throws in a battery because he knows it's going to fail.....and
charges you for it.....
