Please put Make, Model (or Chassis), and Problem in subject line. Then email
can be filed Automatically, Thanks. CR4118 should go without saying. Of
course it will fix intermittent operation. That is the first part we change
on all CTC169's regardless of customers problem. I would think all shops
would change this on all CTC169 repairs, we do, don't we?

Don't know if this will cure it but it has been recommended by many
techs to replace CR4118 (RCA # 164590 or FR302 generic)in every CTC169
that comes into the shop, whether it appears to be OK or not. This diode
causes a lot of strange symptoms.
