[TechAssist] Re: Digital camera preferences? (wifey awaits!)

Everyone has an opinion. I know people who won't do with less than the
best available - even if they're just printing 4x6 pics from the 5Mpix
camera. Personal satisfaction is very important, and as such I'm very
glad for you that you're happy pleasuring yourself with your pictures...

You know, it's not that people can hear 40000 cycles, it's that those
machines are so efficient and precise that 24000 cycles (which is at the
top of the audible range for humans) is accurately reproduced. Some
people are seriously affected by digital fatigue caused when all
components in the chain add their own harmonic distortion to the signal.

Do you know of any humans that can hear 40,000 cycles??? Maybe there
are
but I never heard of it in school where I learned about human hearing
and
such. As far as seeing the pictures, all I have to please is myself no
one
else. If it doesn't look good to them who cares??? I'm not running a
business where other people have to approve of my pictures.
