  Andy,

no, the N82 never could have a higher version than v3.01of OVI. but other
phones could have it once they insalled newer FW.

Hi Neil - I don't understand why it's about phone model and Firmware, but for
what it's worth, I've got the N82 with FW 30. Can you add anything else? -

    Andy,

OVI Maps is not an alternative to Access in terms of a truly accessible GPS
program, it is though a workable solution to an extent.

the issue behind whether or not you'll have to pay for voice guidance is
dependant on phone model and version of FW that you are running on that phone.

    thanks.

    Hi all

I understand that I can use OVI maps as a gps solution to Access, on my
N82, but have also discovered that there is a charge from Nokia to use the
speech component of the software, so will Ovi maps work just with TALKS, as in
pedestrian mode under Access, or will I need to pay for the Nokia voicing
service? -
