do it by going to the options menu and choosing and you go to license from 
there.  Actually I thinkwhen you press key 1 to do that you may get into 
license straight away.

I tried licensing by connecting to the server but that didn't work so chose 
the sms option instead.

The server sends an SMS message back to you but you don't hear it arrive.

Hi All.
I have successfully formatted my phone. The reason I did this was because
the mini GPS was unable to uninstall and it kept hanging on me.
Now, on reinstallation I am still being asked to register. I was under the
impression that this was automatic. So, can you tell me how you managed to
register your mini GPS. I use t-mobile and a 6260.
