From the reading I have done, the white gene is on a different location than
the sable/b&t/bi/black gene. The white gene actually masks the true color.
Therefore white dogs are always another color but that color is masked by the
white.

Has anyone ever SEEN a white procuce a solid black German Shepherd Dog??
