Tucson always prided itself in creating wonderful fireworks, this year being
no exception, but then it's pretty far from where I live. The noise could
still be heard. Some of my neighbors launched a few although it is not
allowed. I was really proud of my dogs, neither one of them flinched. They
chased after their ball as usual. I was more worried about a fire since
everything is so terribly dry, it won't take but a spark to get it started.
All went well, though.

Here in Douglas county, there is a VERY strict ordinance about fireworks
of every kind. A large fine, and jail time on a second offense. I have
