Had the same experience regarding new cost of buying Ilford. For those in
the Montreal area, I just replaced my Ilford multigrade filter set for $60
at Lauzeau. I like the people at Photoco, and I do buy film from them every
now and then (they are located just a short drive from where I work), but I
can't afford to keep them in business. Prices are going up, but we do need
to comparative shop (at least that's what my wife tells me :)

I just bought a 5L jug of Ilford paper developer from Photoco here in
Montreal and it came out to $37.00CDN! Yikes! I used to never recycle paper
developer but I sure as hell am now!
They also told me that filters used to cost $45 or so and Ilford jumped them to $115.00.
Well, my thinking is if this is what it takes to keep Ilford in business,
so be it.
I'm desperate.
They also told me that Kodak stopped making selenium. Is this true? If so,
who else makes it?
