developer but I sure as hell am now!
I mix my own Ansco 130A for less than 10 CDN dollars and it lasts me for
6 months or so - you can replenish it with super cheap potassium
carbonate if it becomes less active. Plus, it's a fabulous developer.
Don't recycle Ilford single use developer, mix some multiple usage soup
instead! We're lucky enough to have a real good photo raw chemicals
supplier here on the South Shore, let's use it.
BTW, if you ever want to give it a try, there will be a comparative
paper dev test in my photo club next week - Dektol vs Ilfosol vs Ansco
120 vs Ansco 130A. The Ansco 120 will be mixed on the spot. Write me to
know the details of the location, etc.
