Mine Norton doesn't update but once a week on it's own. Unless there is unusual activity in the " bats" dept. Then it sometimes does several times a week. I usually go into the web site and download every other day. ----- Original Message ----- From: "The Keyboard Cowboy" <KBCowboy@xxxxxxxxx> To: "Cris" <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 13, 2005 8:33 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: outlook express question You might want to check that. I believe my Norton AV (part of the Systems suite) updates every four hours by default. Thanks to a couple of helpful readers, here's a much | better explanation. Next week I'll cover the same function in | Outlook, the "other" mail program from Microsoft. | When Outlook Express was originally designed, viruses and worms | weren't the big problem they are today.
