ok, I will try it soon. btw, what do you call the controls on the left side of the screen as I am facing my screen. You will see them in the pictures. When I click on the drop down arrow for them, it has various options, like split stereo, ways to view the sound waves, and more. Please do not feel you must rush, I am also reading online free tutorials but since this is such a big project, I am trying to sort out the easiest way from beginning to end. thanks, Christine ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gman" <gman.pctt@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 23, 2008 6:11 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: audacity program question, recording from tape to computer I would think they would go a long way towards letting me see what's going on. I would still have to install the app to go through all of the settings, but it would prepare me a bit for the experience. :O) Peace, G "The only dumb questions are the ones that are never asked" ----- Original Message ----- From: "cristy" <poppy0206@xxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 23, 2008 5:16 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: audacity program question, recording from tape to computer Hi Gman, I tried doing some printscreen shots, they do not look so clear though but let me know if that will help you see what I am looking at. I have not uploaded them yet for you to see.
