I have two oldies.
1) HP DeskJet 660C
2) Cannon bjc 210

I can get just black cartridges for both. The Cannon is so much easier to
refill then the HP. New ink cartridges for both run in the $20-30 range.
Refill kit runs about $20.

Before you rush out to buy a Laser printer or any printer, I suggest you
check on the prices for replacement ink/toner and if they can be refilled.
Try to establish just how hard it will be to refill them if they can be.
Life is what happens in between plans.
