Am I the only person who has noticed that all HDTV sets (by definition) are 16:9 and that SDTV sets are 4:3 by default? I had a similar experience at Best Buy. And worse, they would only sell the STB with a big, ugly, 4:3 HD monitor (they hadn't gotten the word, evidently, that 16:9 was the DTV future).
