What has been done in the United Kingdom to stimulate demand?

John Willkie

Hint: They limited options before Freeview, and still do, but to a lesser
extent.

John,

Search the Best Buy web site for a single ATSC Set Top Receiver. Go to
http://www.bestbuy.com , click on "Digital Set-Top Boxes" under the
Electronics tab and see what pops up. I posted the link to the four ATSC
receivers by offered by Circuit City.

I also posted the four pages of Freeview STBs offered by Yahoo!UK shopping.

I'm sure that the manufacturers of ATSC STBs are meeting demand. They
aren't doing anything to stimulate demand, however, and there must be a
reason.

Cheers,

John Shutt
