Hi JoAnna-
 Lisa and I do 2-3 days.  For us it includes

   - a survey / debrief / discussion of the first week(s)
   - brainstorm norms for the class and establish as a group
   - Syllabus
   - ACTFL PPT (attached the one we use)
   - OWL PPT / discussion (haven't finished our new one)
   - Comprehension exercises: we read an article in portuguese and talk
   about how they could still understand parts of it, they read an article in
   English with 2/3 of the words blacked out and we talk about how they can
   still understand it.  Point is they DON'T need to understand everything
   that is going on...
   - TED Talk(s): How we learn, Think twice &Speak Once, and Speak from Day
   One
   - Goal Setting
