What do you all think about having one English day a week (or a part of that one day a week), especially toward the beginning of the year for Spanish 1 classes? My school has so much housekeeping kind of stuff to do through my first hour classes and I'm new (less than a year) doing OWL. I have tried it - jueves ingles I call it - and we debrief, watch a TED talk, discuss, make sure they know what the week's expectation is for homework, etc. I started off all in Spanish for the first week. I have middle schoolers. On Fri, Sep 20, 2013 at 5:00 AM, Caleb Zilmer <caleb_zilmer@xxxxxxxxx>wrote: > Mine lasted 5 days this year.
