I had a little birding time today en route to see my cousin in Yachats. Met
Daniel Farrar on s jetty rd at Flor. dogpond had LB Dows and a Least. Crab
Dock flats were good, with continuing Red Knot, 2 Baird’s, 2 Least, maybe 120
Westerns, 15+ Semi Plover and a single Dunlin. The channel offered the usual
suspects plus a Pigeon Guillemot.
Bob Creek mouth had a few gulls and two Black Oystercatchers. Steady movements
of Pintail and scoters offshore.
30+ egrets feeding in the Siuslaw channels below the North Fork confluence.
