Maybe so. The photos then would have to be inaccurate regarding the color of
the face and ventral area. The photographer already wrote that wings were not
blue as they appear in the photos, but instead gray. The shade of green on the
tail would have to be inaccurate in the photo compared to that of a Bullock's
Oriole, but again there seems to be color distortion in the photographs. The
size - similar to a towhee would make sense for an oriole. The location in the
bottoms near La Center would be a good location for Bullock's Oriole.
