oh whoops I see you answered my question......the next question would be how? lexi ----- Original Message ----- From: "Renaud, Parker" <PRenaud@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, May 21, 2002 9:50 AM Subject: [mso] Re: Microsoft outlook 2000 Lexi- If the network is using Exchange Server for their e-mail, Microsoft Outlook Web Access is a standard feature. Once it is configured, anyone to whom you give access can check their e-mail, calendar, contacts, etc. from any PC with internet access. It does not take any additional hardware or software, just some time to configure it properly. We configured ours last summer when our company president was traveling to Australia. He then checked his e-mail from his hotel every day using their local internet access. It works great. I have high speed internet access at home and Outlook web access runs as quick as being in the office. Parker Renaud IT Manager Colliers Keenan Inc. I believe the person in charge of the network....mm doesn't really know much about it. I think the most experienced person in the office computer wise is me and tho I can find/fix many problems...i'm not physically there. I work from home so there is no way for me to reach their network...but it sure would be nice if there were! thanks Lexi ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Chapman" <greg@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, May 20, 2002 6:46 PM Subject: [mso] Re: Microsoft outlook 2000 Exchange Server is a a groupware approach to email. Instead of you all connecting with Outlook and storing the messages on your own computers, everyone has their own mail box on the Exchange Server and they connect to that instead. Sounds like that's what you're doing already. Sharing a Calendar in that environment involves your mail system administrator. If that person is not willing to help then you may need to look at the Net Folders option. Did you see the information at the bottom of my first message on how to use Net Folders to share a calendar?
