Yeah, while the addition of flash memory is a nice touch, I was hoping
there would be some additional features, such as decent mic pres with
xlr inputs and phantom power, the ability to record multiple audio
tracks to disk, and of course a fix for the problem with portamento on
mono instruments. We'll just have to see if it's worth upgrading. It
doesn't seem as though the hardware is changing much.

The motif xf is really adding some new sounds based on new wave rom which
just expands on the xs current wave rom, and offers a flash memory
option to
permanently load samples. Some fixes for the xf are coming to the xs
in an
os update. That's really about it.

believe. Idk how different its going to be than the xs though besides
