Are you sure? The XF won't come with any sample flash memory. Not sure how'd
they put new voices+samples in to a user bank. I'd imagine that they'd just
add another preset bank for the new stuff. Where did you hear this?

Well, there's only going to be one bank of them. All the banks of sounds in
the xs will be there. There will be 4 user banks with the first user bank
for the new sounds that Yamaha is adding, so in essence, not much is
changing there.

The motif xf is really adding some new sounds based on new wave rom
which
just expands on the xs current wave rom, and offers a flash memory
option to
permanently load samples. Some fixes for the xf are coming to the xs
in an
os update. That's really about it.

believe. Idk how different its going to be than the xs though
