Yeah, Yamaha with the adition of a non-volatil memory for storing things, including samples, probably saw what Kurzweil are doing with their PC pianos/workstations, but in my opinion the 128mb of sampling RAM does not give much flexibility. I know, not all song in this world has more than 3 or 4 minuts, but the flexibility of upgrading things are the best we can have from a platform, since the investment is our's, not their's. And since now we have some possibility of using computer DAW, and many VST instruments offer more flexibility than those included with the hardware workstations, things urge me to think that it's time for a change on my side. And I prefer the hardware, despite its limitations, but at least I can make music with it.

So Brian, how does it feel dealling with Logic/VoiceOver. I myself am thinking a lot on making some investment on a Mac computer, haven't touched one yet, and I'd love to see your points about Mac and its accessibility perspectives, including access to a DAW like Logic?

Thanks for sharing the future of Motif with us.

Peace,

Edu.
