Which reminds me of a non-Zen tale:
A studen & master were walking. They come to pass another
student. The master asks him "What meaning of Tao?" The
challenged student bats his eyes like a girl, giggles & skips
away. The student & master contine on their way, occasionally
coming across other students & the master challengs each. Each
of the students, to the eyes of the student walking with the
master, performs some silly act which seems to satisfy the
master.
Finally, the student asks, "Master, how is you are satisfied
with the silly acts of these students?"
The master replies "Satisfaction does not always come by way
Tao, but sometimes by way of entertainment";-).
