The citizens of the State of California two years ago (maybe 3 by
now?) voted to allow the "medical use of marijuana". However,
according to federal law the use of marijuana for any reason is
illegal. For the time being, it seems that the feds have the trump
cards because people are still being arrested and prosecuted even
when using for "medical purposes".
