Have you tried, shift control end, or shift control down arrow, to select,
then press delete, tab to yes? For this be at the top of your list.

One more idea, press control plus the letter A well in your In Box, then hit the delete key, then alt plus the letter E and the Y key twice. I had the same problem a while ago and this worked, warning though, you will loose all your messages in your In Box and deleted folder. O, what the heck you're stuck and can't get any where now any how. Hope this idea works.
