Daniel,

I'm still using the same keyboard I did with my Win 98 se machine.
At least with mine, moving from left to right on the bottom row of the
num pad, I have Insert/0, delete,, and Enter. The Delete key is
directly below the pg down key and the Insert and Enter keys are
bigger. If I do an Insert-1 (the top row of the qwerty section, not
F-1, to have JAWS tell the functions of keys, JAWS says "delete." The
Insert-1 is a toggle and you can hit it again after you've finished
experimenting with keystrokes, or jogging your memory, to turn it off
and get back to what you are doing. I tend to forget about it, but
it's handy for people new to JAWS or as a refresher for old hands.

A delete key in the num pad? Where? I just put on the Jaws key
identification thing, Insert num row 1, and pressed every key in the
num
pad. I didn't hear any one of them identified as a delete key. I
don't
remember a delete key on the num pad from my days of using the
keyboard
visually, either. I'm confused.

I usually use the delete key in the num pad, but XP bongs at me
when I use in the one in the six pack as well.

MS Office 2000 is on the machine, not the XP or 2003 versions.

Also, at the moment, the only version of JAWS that is on the
machine is 6.0.

Which delete key are you using, the one in the six pack or the one on
