I think that the block-quotes feature can be helpful for some people which is why I'm glad this is an optional adjustment. But what I hate is that for some reason unbeknownst to me, someone will send me an e-mail that might have text copied from a website and right there in black-and-white I see the words printed "block quote" at the beginning of the text, or it might say "block quote, six columns" or some other state, which might take up two or three lines on its own, and it's annoying to see that especially right in the middle of the text. Why this is even PRINTED in the document instea of just spoken by JAWS is a real mystery to me. I can understand JAWS speaking it since it's something that's recognized on the screen, but WHY it's actually printed as if I'm reading JAWS speech output on screen, is something that I don't have an answer for. Any takers?
