keep an ear out for the carb and manifold. when it's right, it will
come to you. It's actually not that difficult - get everything set up
before, make sure you got everything, and go for it.

But if this part won't fit then he'll junk it.
Mary, ultimately I do need to replace the manifold and carburetor
because the one I have runs poorly. But not sure I want to take that
project on until spring, so hopefully I can get the alternator to fit
before winter sets in.
