No you won't :-) I think the sequence for escape is: Choose custom install Untick the 'offending' update Tick the don't show this message again or something like that. I have a series of updates for Word 2003 because something or other in it is broken and resort to the above from time to time. Incidentally, I got the same updates Dave Symes specified but have had no problems with WindowsXP <-> RISC OS 4.39 via LanMan98 v2.0 .
