Here, there were two Win XP updates on the 14th.
Security Update for Windows XP (KB958687).
And...
Malicious Software removal tool update for Jan 2009 (KB90830)
On the 13th.
There was also a Security Update for Windows XP (KB9951748).
Those updates were accepted and installed here, and all my networking
facilities, including LAN by LanMan98 v2 seem to be working okay.
Granted not with an Iyo but a SARPC and a Win XP PC.
Don't forget some (Not all) updates can be uninstalled from Control
Panel-Add/Remove programs.
Have you set any recent Restore points you could go back to?
