I learned from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TELNET that telnet is a network
protocol or a local area network connection. It is considered insecure due to
its many limitations.
I learned about telnet at the Library of Congress Information System located at
telnet://140.147.254.3 . This site launches a telnet program in which you can
navigate using preset commands that you are given at the opening of the
program. Thanks
