Dear Class,
I learned that telnet is a protocal that makes a way to connect to a remote
computer using commands. You have to learn to use these. I learned this at:

I practiced using telnet at: http://www.moongate.net/ and tried out the game
where you create characters and develop them by using commands. It's quite
interesting, but not very fun.
I clicked the link to "click here to play now" and then I selected a port and
clicked connect. After that I went through a series of commands to create a
character with a name and different traits. After creating it, though, I got
lost since there was so much reading. I learned that you can play games with
telnet. Didn't know that before. It looks like it can be fun when you learn how
to use telnet and the commands associated with it, but it doesn't seem
interesting or helpful.
