Dear Booksharian Friends,

There was a similar incongruous blooper in the third Harry Potter movie. Shortly after the new school year started in autumn, Hagrid's garden was overgrown with oversized pink pumpkins. After winter the kids trooped down the hill through the springtime flowers to Hagrid's cottage and the pink pumpkins were still there.

These are books and movies that time forgot. Those continuity editors need to pay attention!

Always with love,

Lissi

I think it was Robinson Crusoe. If I am wrong it was a book of about equal fame. A character strips naked to swim across a body of water to an island. When he gets there he picks up something and puts it in his pocket.

There was a book I read a couple of years ago called Baker Towers. It was a
very well-written family saga, but it had one flaw. It mentioned that as
one of the people in the book was walking along, she saw a boy with a
transistor radio, and people gathered around him to hear that the war was
over. The problem was that the transistor hadn't been invented yet and
didn't come into use until the mid-50s.
