Hi Yerba, This question has come up before and there are opposing opinions as to whether this illegal or not. I called the librarian at the Braille and Talking Book Library in Daytona Beach in Florida and she said that it is perfectly legal to read the converted file in text format on your computer as long as it is for your own use. It is still questionable whether you could print the file in large print as this would make it too readily available to others. So I took it to mean that you can't have these translated files unless they're in bookport or some other program or device related to access for the visually impaired.
