For reading text files, whether .txt, .doc, .html, etc., the bookport is
quite superior to the stream as it currently stands. I did purchase a
Stream to supplement my bookport because of the downloads from NLS which
are coming before the BP 2 is released. The BP 2 is still vapor
hardware, and I don't think I would upgrade if all that it would offer
is a way to get the NLS titles. I am very happy with my bookport as it
stands, so I may not be willing to shell out the additional dollars,
which APH says will be the cost of the new BP when and if it ever comes
out. I expect that third party manufacturers will be coming out to
compete with both Stream and Bookport. They would do well to look at
the bookport design and features if they want to give us a competitive
product.

1 thing is, the the b p has a lot of user's, so that's a plus point, and
we all no that aph is whery supportiv, so at this point i think the b p
