Hi, Paula,

Well, it sounds like you are extremely capable and so should not have any problems with it. I included my parenthetical about APH with the thought that as you indicate, they might not be okay with it although it might help stimulate sales.

I was going to discuss the downtime more in depth (I am with my fifth dog) but the list is not the appropriate place to do so and I see no way (unless I missed it) of contacting you off-list. My link is on the message should you wish additional comments.

Michael

Hi Michael,

Well, I'm used to working full-time and caring for home and family, and have been to a residential school many years ago. My experience has been that there is far too much down time, so I am trying to prepare.

I suspect that leaving my copy of Bookport transfer on a machine not belonging to me would be a vilation of the license agreement.

Paula,

I wonder (if APH is okay with this) if the powers that be at the school
(whichever one it is) would allow you to leave the upgraded BP software in
the computer so that other BP users could use it?

That being said, however, I have to strongly agree with the previous comment
that you may have more on your hands than you expect with the new dog,
particularly if you are unlearning terminology and practices from one school
and learning those of a second school, which it sounds like you are doing.
Good luck.

Michael
