I know there has been at least 3 sightings of Whooping cranes in Barren county this season, and if I am not badly mistaken, there was one seen on the Barren County State Park Sandhill crane weekend last year, as well as at least two sightings last last year. My point is, there are multiple sightings of Whooping cranes mixed in with the Sandhill cranes in Barren County. That is where most of the Sandhill cranes are killed. So, Scott, I totally agree with your point. Obviously, Fish and Wildlife does not care that Whooping cranes are "disturbed", so I'm wondering how we can get other folks / organizations who have invested money and time in keeping whooping cranes alive to help in this matter....especially in Barren County!
