Frank, this was my point from the beginning. Since the Whooping Crane migration is so interconnected with Sandhill's movement, any disturbance of the Sandhills could also disturb the Whooping Crane. The defense was they were training the would be hunters on the difference, but any type of disturbance could tip the delicate balance the wrong way for the Whooping Cranes. Running them from feeding grounds during the stressful winter could be the same as shooting them. Is this not also undue disturbance?
