There is still time to come see Sandhill cranes near the roadside in Lucus
(Barren County). The states second Sandhill Crane season opens Dec. 15 Jan.
13, 2013, or until the season quota of 400 birds is met. If the birds do like
last year, they will be hard to find and see from the car after season opens.
